Malc Fraser
Malc put a lifelong love of the outdoors to professional use in 1996, deciding to share his enthusiasm for all things mountaineering by moving to Snowdonia and starting out as an Outdoor Education and Mountaineering Instructor.
Malc is a holder of the following awards; Mountain Instructor, Winter Mountain Leader and International Mountain Leader and is a Level 2 Coach in Inland Kayak and Open Canoe. He has numerous seasons mountaineering and treking experience in the French, Swiss and Italian Alps, ice climbing in Norway and a wide range of experience climbing throughout the U.K. in both winter and summer. He also has experience of sea kayaking trips on the west coast of Ireland and Chile.
Further afield Malc has been a project manager on a 3 month expedition for young adults in Patagonia, Chile and also spent some weeks trekking through southern Chile and Argentina. Furthermore he was Expedition leader for a team of young adults on a one month expedition to Ladahk in the Indian Himalaya.
Currently Malc is still based in North Wales working as an instructor covering a wide range of Outdoor Education activities; climbing and mountaineering instruction throughout the U.K; training for Mountain Leader Training providers; expedition work both UK and abroad and personal development courses.
