Outer Limits was founded by Chris Butler with a friend and colleague on leaving the Royal Marines in 1996. The company went on to become one of the UK's foremost adventure travel and professional development course providers. Outer Limits Explore took it's present form in May 2006 following Chris and Anne pooling their considerable expertise in the planning, administration, safety system implementation and practical knowledge in worldwide Adventure Travel and Professional Development.
Add to all of the above the 22 years that Managing Director Chris Butler spent with the British Forces as an Adventurous Training Specialist and you know you're in safe hands. Chris personally accompanies as many of our expeditions as he can, as we believe that your safety and the quality of your adventure travel experience is paramount.
With strong links in virtually every country in the World, specialisiing in Africa, Central and South America - we have the expertise to take you anywhere you want to go.
In addition to our regular trips each year, we also dedicate ourselves to building tailor-made itineraries for small groups. Just get together with a bunch of 6 to 12 friends; tell us where you want to go and what you want to do then relax and leave the rest to us.
