The following pages give more detailed information on these awards, however the registration process is the same for both the Walking Group Leader Award and the Mountain Leader Award as detailed below.
Course Registration
Registration with your home nation Mountain Training board is essential prior to attending any of the above training courses. Registration provides a Log book in which to record all your mountain experience and should be brought along to the training course for endorsement of the training course page. Accommodation
Courses are based in Self-catering bunk accommodation or campsites. You are welcome to make your own accommodation arrangements If you prefer. Accommodation is not included in the price.
