Illimani - The Queen of Mountains
Known as The Queen of the the Mountains, Illimani towers over Bolivia's capital city of La Paz. At 6439m it is the higest and southern-most of the peaks in the Cordillera Real.
Illimani actually has 5 peaks in total, 3 of which are over 6000m. You will need to be modertely fit with some basic climbing skills and experience to tackle this mountain as it is technically demanding in parts.
